Angela Last, Replica Bears

Angela Last of:
Angela's Bear Garden
Since her passing, I have chosen to recreate a series of Faux Fur & Real Fur Bears from her original patterns.

We at  Outside In & BEARS4U have decided all the proceeds will be going to the daughter's she left behind to help pay for there continued education.

I do not put the red leather heart on the tush. It is on the chest and signed by her daughter's. I also took her signature and created a sew file so each bear is kinda signed by her!

Angela's Panda in Mohair from a private collection
The Panda on the right is one of mine done in Faux Fur, from her copyrighted design's. He is waiting to be adopted.$65.00 Canadian

I also do the leather sculpted noses for her bears. Her and I had met through Teddy Bear Shows and became friend's immediately!
At one time you could of clicked on this link to find her... www3.sympatico.ca/angela.last

Her Bio...
Teddy bear artist Angela Last started her love for animals at a
young age. Living on a hobby farm in southern Ontario for
approximately 8 years of her life, helped her fascination of animals
to grow. She also had the benefit of a creative nature loving family.

When Angela graduated from school, she worked for a seamstress, a
floral shop, and did a variety of crafts including floral design and
jewelry. None of these endeavors completely fulfilled her creativity.

Then came teddy bears! Angela discovered bear making in 1988. An
endless expression of creativity was opened up to her. Within about a
year she was designing her own patterns. Since then she  taught
various bear making courses and workshops and created many new
and unique bears and other animals. She also began to express her
passion for carousels in soft sculpture.
On March 22, 2010
Angela Last has passed away following a  battle with Cancer.  I shall miss her smiling face and soft voice at the shows.
One very unique feature on all her  bears (except the minis) is the leather hand sculpted noses.   Also her hand signed red leather hearts on the tush of her bears.

The above picture's are of her actual bears.

Angela sold her bears through shows and a variety of Teddy Bear web site's .
Her bears have been purchased and sent to places like Sweden, China,
Germany, USA, and Saudi Arabia!

She loved the challenge of new ideas  Angela also donated an annual  teddy bear to the Children's Aid Foundation project for many years, creating amazing pieces that have truly helped some of the most disadvantaged kids in Canada. Angela was a sincere lovely woman and will be sadly missed by us all...
